Return & Refund Policy

Home Devotions

Because our products are handcrafted devotional furnishings and are often made to order, all sales are final except in the limited circumstances described below.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Made-to-Order & Handcrafted Items

Most Home Devotions products are made to order or produced in small batches. For this reason:

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as change of mind, preference, sizing expectations, or natural variations in wood grain, tone, or finish.
  • Variations in material, grain, color, and minor dimensional differences are normal and are not considered defects.

Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or modified.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We will, of course, make things right if something goes wrong.

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 7 days of receipt if:

  • your item arrives damaged
  • your item is defective
  • you receive the wrong item

To report an issue, contact us at ric@romanellidesign.com with:

  • your order number
  • a brief description of the issue
  • clear photos of the item and packaging

If the issue is confirmed, we will, at our discretion:

  • repair the item
  • replace the item
  • or issue a refund

Items reported outside the 7-day window may not be eligible for resolution.

Returns (Limited, Case-by-Case)

Returns are not accepted as a general policy.
In rare circumstances, a return may be approved solely at our discretion and must be requested in writing before any item is sent back.

Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

If a return is approved:

  • the item must be unused and in its original condition
  • return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • original shipping charges are non-refundable

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Made-to-order or custom items
  • Personalized items
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards

European Union Customers (14-Day Right of Withdrawal)

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

To be eligible:

  • the item must be unused and in its original condition
  • you must notify us in writing within the 14-day period

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds (If Approved)

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
